We.Pivot helps people navigate redundancy and retirement transition with purpose, not just a plan.
Clinically informed, evidence-based, and grounded in occupational science and occupational therapy. Because a major life transition affects not just you, but everyone around you.
Redundancy or retirement transition hitting differently than you expected?
Your life has individual meaning and importance. You require a personalised approach to planning your future.
We.Pivot is a growing, research-led initiative designed to help professionals navigate the transition from structured careers to fulfilling, healthy, and purpose-driven lives.
We.Pivot has worked with people from universities, the NHS, pharmaceuticals, the Big Four, law firms, professional advisory firms, and elite sport. What they share is not a sector or a salary. It is a significant life transition that deserves more than a transactional response.
There are books on becoming a parent. There are frameworks for navigating grief. But the playbook for life following redundancy and retirement transition is still being written.
We.Pivot exists to write it. Drawing on occupational science, occupational therapy, and the lived experience of every person who moves through our programmes, we are building an evidence base that will serve the people who navigate these transitions in the future.
Every cohort contributes. Every story matters.
Through peer group programmes, bespoke 1-to-1 work, corporate programmes, and speaking engagements, We.Pivot brings clinical rigour and lived experience to one of life’s most significant transitions.
We are not a coaching practice, although we work closely with trusted coaches. We are a clinically informed, evidence-led and evidence-generating consultancy grounded in occupational science and occupational therapy.
The impact of a major life transition extends beyond the individual. It touches partners, families, friends, and communities. We.Pivot works with the whole person, and understands the ripple effect that transition creates in every direction.
We have developed evidence-based approaches to support people as they explore what this next chapter can hold, helping them to maintain mental and physical wellbeing so they can continue to embrace experiences and pursue what matters most.
Who we are
How we work
Our measure of success is that you no longer need us.
The final We.Pivot pillar is about navigating your transition independently, with confidence, and on your own terms. That is not just an aspiration. It is the goal we are working towards from the very first session.
We work within a regulated professional framework and take our ethical obligations seriously. We will not work with you if you do not have a need, and we will not extend an engagement beyond what genuinely serves you. In a field where ongoing dependency can be quietly encouraged, we think that is worth saying out loud.
We do not offer referral fees or financial incentives.
People refer to We.Pivot because they believe our approach is the right one for the people they care about, not because they are incentivised to do so. That matters to us, and we think it matters to you too.
