Richard retired from EY after 26 years, and he knew that navigating what came next with real intention would take work. He had spent over two decades as a trusted adviser to FTSE100 organisations, including seven years as Managing Partner of one of EY's largest regional practices. The transition from that kind of career is not something that resolves itself.

Richard works with We.Pivot as a co-facilitator across workshops and peer group programmes, bringing the power of professional coaching alongside the occupational therapy and occupational science framework that underpins everything we do. Trained in the We.Pivot approach, he also works 1:1 with clients who would benefit from his particular style and experience.

Richard wanted to turn the dial on his own post-main-career life with intention, and that personal experience is part of what drew him to this work. He brings that understanding to every transition he works with, whether retirement, redundancy, or any significant shift in professional identity. His coaching creates space for people to explore what they are moving towards, not just what they are leaving behind.

Many of Richard's clients come through their own networks, people who have worked alongside him, been advised by him, or who know him through the relationships he has built over a long career. That reflects the way We.Pivot works: through trust, not transaction.

He is an EMCC-accredited Practitioner in Coaching and Mentoring, and brings to every conversation the same quality of attention he once gave to his most important client relationships.
